Natural, long lasting makeup!
At the last minute, just 3-4 weeks before our wedding, we contacted About Face and hoped and prayed they had our wedding date available. They were more than accommodating, and ended up sending Lauren to our bridal suite. As two brides who don’t usually wear much makeup we were both concerned about making sure we maintained a “natural” look, and Lauren did so well with that!! I felt like the most beautiful version of myself possible, and my wife said she felt the same!! The makeup lasted ALL NIGHT even through rain, dancing, and sweating!! It felt light and never looked over the top. This was the best possible last minute addition to our big day. Lauren was on time, courteous, efficient but never rushing, and easy to talk too! I loved her work and felt comfortable working with her from as an LGBT bride 🌈. Thank you Lauren for making this day SO perfect!! We are so happy you were there for us!!

Lauren from About Face did the make up for my bridal party on 09/25/21. She did an excellent job with all of us! It poured rain on my wedding day, but all of our make up was still perfect at the end of the day. I would recommend Lauren for sure!

Bride no consultation $145 -Wedding day makeup and includes false eyelash strips
Bridal Party Members- $95 includes makeup and false eyelash strips

Lauren and Linda at About Face did an amazing job on my makeup for my elopement last weekend. I don’t wear a ton of makeup on a normal day, and I was worried that I wouldn’t look like me on our wedding day. I just received my wedding pictures back from our photographer and I look like the most beautiful version of myself possible and it’s all because of Linda. I even got some advice from Linda on skincare and bought some other products while I was there. It’s a great little store! Lauren did my mom and Grandmom’s makeup and they were STUNNING! I highly recommend these two!

Lauren did an incredible job on both my makeup and my mothers! She was very knowledgable of the products she was using and knew what would look the best on my wedding day. She and the staff at About Face were very responsive and kind during the process. My make-up looked extraordinary in my photos and didn't feel to "cakey" or "over-the-top". Lauren gave my mom and I a natural and timeless look that had me feeling like a princess on my wedding day. Thank you!

I could not reccomend Linda and Lauren more! They did the make up for my wedding on 8/11 and they were nothing but incredible!! From make up trails, to recommending products to me and my girls and completing our make up day of, they were AMAZING!! The day if the wedding they were more then willing to work with our time table and came to us to complete all of the make up! They made me feel so relaxed through the whole process! They did the make up for myself, 7 bridesmaids and 3 mothers, they were nothing but fun, personable and professional the whole time! Everyone's make up turned out perfect. They truly helped make our day amazing, they took the stress out of the whole process. If you are getting married or have an event in the region, there is no one else I would recommend for makeup!!

About Face did a fantastic job! They came to our wedding venue in Phippsburg, ME early and ready to go. The makeup looked so beautiful and natural and lasted all day. They were easy to communicate with and a pleasure to work with. The bridal party and mothers loved their makeup (I of course did too). We had a team of 2 for 9 people, which was perfect. They finished ahead of schedule and made for a very smooth day. They also did fake eye-lashes that looked beautiful and natural. I cannot recommend their services enough!

Linda did the makeup for four bridesmaids, my mother, and me on-site the morning of my wedding. I wanted to look fairly natural, and Linda did a great job. She took careful notes at my trial and executed everything perfectly. She was a fun, relaxing presence in the room as we got ready, and everyone was happy with how they looked. My mother, in particular, had been nervous that the stylist wouldn't be experienced with "old people," but she later raved about how she looked and how well everything stayed put.

Lauren from About Face did my wedding day makeup, as well as my bridal party. She did an AMAZING job!! She was very professional, and patient with such a big group! I absolutely loved my makeup, it was exactly what I was hoping for (and even more). My bridesmaids were extremely impressed, and one was even trying to see if they would consider coming to Vermont to do her wedding makeup ; ) I can't thank About Face enough!!!

This venue is now in Damariscotta rather than Boothbay Harbor, Me. They will travel to fit your needs! Linda did my wedding makeup and I've never felt more beautiful! Very affordable for trial session and day of.

This is long overdue, but I had my makeup done at About Face last summer for my wedding and it was AMAZING! I wanted something very natural that would still look good in pictures all day and that's exactly what I got!! Plus, the whole experience of being in the quiet and calm store the morning of my wedding made me feel refreshed and ready for the excitement ahead. ;) Highly recommended!
